H.E. Bates Companion

Columns written by Bates for the Spectator in 1936, eventually compiled in a volume called Country Life, (where complete information can be found). Full-text of the entire series of columns, 1935-1941, can be found in seven entries, one for each year of publication, under the title "Country Life."
