A story of post-war India concerning a weary and lonely owner of a tea plantation, a young nurse, and a fugitive worker. Featuring "Quit India" signs and a quickly changing political and social landscape, the title refers to what the man considers "the birth of another nationalism in a world diseased by nationalism, the creation of yet another frontier."
